Lineside Civils, Cabling, Trough Routes & Telecoms Our Scotland business unit is involved in a variety of projects, including small civil works within our Civils Asset Management framework, large-scale rail infrastructure projects, and non-rail civil engineering infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Effective registration, control, and administration of tender documentation Preparation and management of tenders from receipt of documents through to delivery Presentation of tenders to senior management at tender review meetings Liaison with the Supply Chain team in respect of placing supplier/subcontractor enquiries Technical and commercial appraisal of construction labour, plant, materials, and temporary works Take-offs from drawings and production of cost-effective tenders from first principles Effective analysis and pricing of risks Preparation of tender submission documents Preparation of estimating reports Providing assistance to proposals and contract management functions Requirements: Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in multi-disciplinary civil engineering sectors such as rail, highways, aviation, and/or utilities and power First Principles Estimating experience Civil engineering project experience Working knowledge of Excel (& Word) and estimating software If you’re ready to bring your estimating expertise to a reputable company involved in impactful civil engineering projects across Scotland, we’d love to hear from you.
