Elite Travel is an executive private hire company based in Ipswich. We serve Ipswich and the surrounding Suffolk area.
We are looking for a high quality candidate to strengthen our team - which is made up of former professionals from many different backgrounds.
Due to the rapid growth of the business we are looking for the perfect addition to our already customer focused team.
We are ideally looking for either a full time or part time colleague, either self-employed or employed private hire driver to facilitate the customers journey, wherever that may be. Predominantly our journeys are to Airports and Seaports, of which guidance will be given to help any candidate. This role would ideally suit a retired or semi-retired individual.
The ideal candidate would need to be flexible with working hours throughout the day and night. We do not provide taxi work, but we do provide executive travel.
You would also be required to dress smartly, help customers with their bags and meet customers in the terminal when required.
The essential skills for this role are:
* Put the customer at the heart of everything you do
* Be able to communicate on multiple levels and to different kinds of people
* Being reliable and have good time management so that customers are not disappointed
* Being able to meet the demands of the customer journey needs, day or night
* Knowledge/experience of dropping off and collecting customers from airports would be desirable
To be able to work for Elite Travel you will need to hold a Mid Suffolk District Council badge. However, if you don't currently have one you can apply for one.
As part of the licensing, you will have to undergo a medical, CRB check and a knowledge test.
No position will be offered without a clean CRB certificate due to some of our clients safeguarding needs.
As well as this you must hold a clean driving license and be 25 or over with at least 5 years driving experience. The pay will be dependent on the job carried out.
Please be aware that the market we operate in is very fluid and may differ each week dependant on the work load so this job would be suitable for someone who is semi - retired or wanting extra income.
