The post holder will work as a member of the Radiology team to assist registered Radiology staff with clinical duties. This will include managing ultrasound lists, assisting the Radiographers and Radiologists with patients in CT, MRI and X‑ray.
Main duties of the job
* Give helpful information to patients as requested.
* Data entry on the hospital information system.
* Organise the request and transfer of patient images as required.
* Complete essential documentation to facilitate safe practice.
* Stock ordering and replenishment.
* Preparing the patients for their examination, chaperoning.
* Prepare trolley settings for guided injections.
* Direct patient care in support of and being supervised by a Radiographer and / or a Radiologist.
* Organise and assist Radiologist ultrasound lists.
* Assist with the daily running of CT, MRI and X‑ray lists.
* I.V. cannulation of patients prior to examination.
* Ensure that all Mandatory/Statutory training is kept up to date.
* Participate in departmental and hospital audits.

Job responsibilities
Training will be provided in all aspects of the role, as well as peripheral I.V. cannulation. The post holder must maintain a high standard of patient care and professional conduct.
Qualifications
* GCSE in English and Math (A C or 4 9 or equivalent).
* Experience with Microsoft Office.
* Experience in healthcare environment.
