Are you a dedicated Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities and autism? Join our Community Learning Disability & Autism (LDA) Team in Lancashire and be part of a supportive, passionate, and forward‑thinking service. 2 positions available. You’ll be based in Lancaster, Morecambe, and Garstang, with opportunities to collaborate across North, East, West, and Central Lancashire. Our team works closely with individuals, families, and partner agencies to promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing. This is a hugely exciting time for us. We've launched Living Better Lives in Lancashire – our new strength‑based vision for social care. We’re driving forward innovative practice that will make a difference to our communities and we need new Social Workers to help us achieve our vision of supporting people to achieve what they want to, living independently in a place they call their home. As part of the Transitions Team, there is a renewed focus on collaboration and coproduction with internal /external professionals, community services, carer and the people we are supporting.

Eligibility & Requirements
Social Work applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with SWE.
We will comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful, you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'. Further information can be found on our Recruitment Process tab. You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and you must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
