A day in the life of a support worker includes:
* Ensuring physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
* Supporting individuals during recreational activities, outings, and community integration;
* Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence, celebrating achievements and milestones;
* Working collaboratively to tailor support to individual needs;
* Keeping accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents;
* Performing general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
We are looking for people who:
* Have a compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact;
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships;
* Are resilient and patient, adapting to individual needs;
* Are willing to learn and follow guidance from the team;
* Have basic IT skills for record keeping and communication;
* Are flexible to work on shifts, including weekends and occasional nights.
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
