Job Title: Legal Secretary (Conveyancing) Location: Warrington Working Hours: 9am 5pm Mon - Fri
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our client who specialise in Conveyancing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the solicitors and ensuring the smooth operation of their office. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in data entry, and a solid understanding of administrative tasks within a legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Audio typing or copy typing of letters and other documents
Prepare and file legal documents, always ensuring compliance
Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records
Updating client records and inputting data onto the system
taking calls and answering any client queries
passing on messcges and transferring calls when necessary
Organise office supplies and postal duties
Meeting clients to take instruction or compelte forms
About You
Must have previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal practice within Conveyancing
Proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks is essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective client interaction
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
