Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar and Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of bar and restaurant operations, including service, food preparation, and beverage management.
* Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
* Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and food production standards.
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation, including culinary tasks such as cooking and food production.
* Lead team management activities such as scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control for both bar and kitchen areas.
* Ensure the smooth running of service during busy periods, including serving customers directly when needed.
* Develop promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
* Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold the establishment's reputation for excellent service.
Requirements
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
* Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
* Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel management is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with barista experience or bar management is advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask across various responsibilities such as serving, supervising staff, and managing stock.
* Good understanding of hospitality principles, including customer service excellence and food safety regulations.
* Ability to lead by example while fostering a collaborative team environment.
