Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Homelessness Prevention Officer to join a North East Council’s Housing Service Team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week (Mon – Fri). The post requires a flexible approach, with occasional evening and weekend work to ensure service accessibility. About the Role As a Homelessness Prevention Officer, you will provide timely and appropriate housing advice and support to vulnerable households in order to prevent or alleviate homelessness. You will also be responsible for investigating homelessness applications in line with relevant legislation and guidance.
