We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you will have 3 weeks' notice of when your shifts will be. Pay and hours
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
What you will do
The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work: the availability windows. You will be scheduled for contracted hours within these times and will receive 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. You will be supported with flexibility if your availability is close to the advertised times.

Responsibilities
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; provide great natural service.
* Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
* Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
* Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver routines that meet customer needs at the right time.
* Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Be knowledgeable about the store’s performance and your role in driving service, sales, reducing waste, shrinkage, and delivering profit.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Be yourself, live Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome and follow policies.
* Occasionally you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
