Are you a passionate and motivated individual looking to take on a Deputy Care Manager role? Sense are seeking a Deputy Care Manager for our service in Seaton, Devon. This is a permanent role, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £28,378 per annum.
Our residential service in Seaton supports 6 adults with learning disabilities, providing real life experiences and opportunities to live fulfilling lives. The Deputy Care Manager will work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the service, delivering person-centred, specialist services to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service to residents.
* Work as a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person-centred services.
* Contribute to person-centred planning, rota planning, staff management and development.
* Coach and mentor a team of support workers; be IT literate and undertake administration duties as required.
* Support daily operations of the service, including rota management, supervision, mentoring and leading the team to ensure responsibilities are fulfilled and systems comply with standards.
* Deliver services that meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* 2 years experience in a Deputy Manager role within a Health & Social care setting.
* Level 3 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care.
* Experience and knowledge of working to CQC guidelines.
* Substantial experience of providing support including personal care.
* Positive, can-do attitude; passion for enhancing other people’s lives.
