Responsibilities -Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. -Plan and implement fun, educational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical activity. -Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements. -Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging them to express themselves and build confidence. -Maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring all equipment is safe and in good condition. -Collaborate with teachers to align play activities with classroom learning objectives. -Observe children's behavior and development, providing feedback to parents and educators as needed. -Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Qualifications Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education techniques and experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus. First aid certification is required to ensure the safety of all children under your care. Strong behavior management strategies are necessary for maintaining a positive environment. Background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting will be considered an asset.
