About the role

This Quality Assurance Supervisor post is responsible for upholding quality provision in Learning & Development, overseeing Internal and External Quality Assurance processes, reporting directly to the Quality Assurance manager.

You will be a part of a dynamic, supportive team, who work across the Learning & Development department, to ensure high quality provision and training.

You will have excellent communication skills, and work with your team to ensure compliance with internal staff in L&D, and external stakeholders, including the College of Policing and the University of South Wales.

This role will coordinate and engage with continuous monitoring, including the feedback and evaluation of training across the business, and support the Continual Professional Development of Assessors and Trainers within your own team, and the department.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor in Learning & Development, to support the QA manager in maintaining high standards across the department.

This role is key to ensuring quality practices, procedures and compliance requirements are embedded and adhered to across a range of qualifications and frameworks.

You will lead a team of staff, and work closely with colleagues to support delivery, analyse and evaluate training programmes, develop continual improvement of learning, and identify opportunities to improve the learner experience. You will help develop training, support assessors and ensure standards are met in line with organisational and Awarding Body requirements.

You will lead the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) processes for different areas (e.g. PCER, PCSOs), including standardisation meetings, dip-sampling, moderation and evaluation.

You will have a good working relationship with internal colleagues, and with external stakeholders, representing the department at regional QA meetings and working collaboratively with external bodies such as the University of South Wales, College of Policing and Skills for Justice Awards.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, with a passion for continuous improvement, who can build positive working relationships and promote high standards across the department and the organisation.
