The successful Finance Manager will join a well-organised operations team that includes HR, admissions, facilities and administration. You will report directly to the School Business Director and play a major role in ensuring the financial health of the school. This is a school that values precision, transparency and accountability. The Role: As Finance Manager, you will oversee the school’s finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget management, compliance and forward financial planning. This includes managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processes, month-end reconciliation, audit preparation and financial forecasting. You will prepare reports for governors, senior leaders and external auditors. The role requires a combination of technical financial expertise and strategic insight. You will support leaders in setting budgets, analysing expenditure, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring best value. You will also oversee financial policies, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage software systems and supervise finance staff.
