CNC Setter Operators ( Millers & Turners) required for expansion at this exceptional sub contract precision engineering company - Day Shift or Night shifts roles available (nights are Mon-Thursday 5pm-5am)
The company produces complex, high-precision components for industries including Formula One, aerospace and military applications, machining a wide range of metals to extremely tight tolerances. You will join the CNC machining team as either a CNC Miller or CNC Turner (Setter/Operator), depending on your background.
CNC Millers (Heidenhain):
* Set and operate CNC milling machines running Heidenhain controls.(cross training can be provided)
* Load programmes, set tools and make offset adjustments as required.
* Machine complex components from a variety of metals to tight tolerances.
* Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and work to customer specifications.
* Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment.
CNC Turners (Fanuc):
1. Program, Set and operate CNC lathes running Fanuc controls.
2. Load programmes, set tooling and adjust offsets to achieve correct dimensions.
3. Produce high-precision turned components in a range of metals.
