We’re looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support in a well-established primary setting in the BS7 area. This is a school with a strong inclusive ethos and a well-developed approach to supporting pupils with additional needs. You’ll be working as part of a wider team that understands SEN, values consistency, and puts the right support in place for both pupils and staff. The role You’ll be supporting children with a range of special educational needs, both in the classroom and within dedicated support spaces. Needs you may work with include: Autism (ASC), including pupils who benefit from structured routines and visual support ADHD and attention-related needs Speech, language and communication difficulties Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs Sensory processing differences Support may be delivered in different ways depending on the pupil: 1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs Small group interventions Classroom-based support alongside the teacher Work within resource bases or quieter, structured environments for pupils who need reduced stimulation The school uses a range of strategies and approaches, including visual timetables, structured routines, and targeted interventions to support regulation and engagement. What we’re looking for This role would suit someone who is already confident working within SEN settings and understands how to adapt their approach.
