The purpose of this role is to identify, organize and manage production schedules, inventory and resources to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of goods in a fast-moving environment.
Main responsibilities will include:
Managing the stock levels within the order picking area, production and 3rdparty storage facilities to ensure manufacturing priorities are met.
Coordinating material requirements and procurement timing with supply chain and purchasing teams
Identifying any stock shortages, agree remedial action and communicate through appropriate plan amendment.
Working closely with the suppliers, planners and production to ensure optimum levels of raw material are available to achieve the plan.
Analyzing sales data, looking for sales trends and forecasting customer demand in line with factory plans.
Participating in sales and operations planning meetings to align production with demand forecasts.
