Reporting to the Licensing Team Leader, your role will involve:
Responsibilities
* Processing applications for hackney carriage and private hire drivers, vehicles, and operators, including face‑to‑face appointments with applicants.
* Working with licensing officers to assess whether applicants are “fit and proper” to hold a licence.
* Handling payments and managing all required paperwork and online administration.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in administration work, including finance and payments.
* Experience dealing directly, face‑to‑face, with customers and members of the public.
* Experience working in a large organisation such as a local authority.
* IT literacy with broad experience of common applications.
* Previous experience working in licensing would be desirable.
