Are you interested in working for an award-winning social care charity?
Personal Assistants play a vital role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but what we can guarantee is that you will support someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes—whatever they may be!
Each person we support has different needs, so your role as a Personal Assistant may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support, while also helping expand their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around each individual, and our Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.
The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me
The people we support have diverse interests and hobbies, sharing many dreams and aspirations similar to ours; however, they often lack opportunities to pursue them. A career with Enable is rewarding and diverse. Personal Assistants at their best can truly bring out the best in the people we support.
You will work as part of a team supporting residents in Largs, in a community of adults with various support needs. There are 22 houses, each providing individualised support, from essential daily living assistance to community access support. Staff are on-site 24/7, and shifts are available. Training will be provided, and travel expenses paid if you are not local.
