Job Description:
My client, a global US-headquartered investment manager, is looking for a lawyer to support their Investments team. This person will sit in London as the dedicated lawyer there, with a wider team in the US.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support for the client investment process, including reviewing and negotiating a broad range of investments, with a focus on private funds such as hedge funds, private equity funds, and venture capital funds.
The successful candidate will:
* Be either a US-trained attorney located in London OR a lawyer with experience working with US lawyers or in a US law firm in London.
* Have at least 5 PQE and experience within a private funds team at a top-tier law firm, or have moved in-house within another US manager.
* Have an interest in working as the London-based member of an Investments Legal team based in the US.
* Have specific experience with primary, secondary, and direct transactions in private equity and venture capital (preferred).
