1:1 Teaching Assistant – KS2
Location: Just outside Yeovil, Somerset
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Full-time, term time only
Start Date: ASAP (subject to interview and checks)
We are working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school based just outside of Yeovil who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Key Stage 2.

The Role:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in KS2, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential
* Assist with classroom activities, differentiation, and individual learning plans
* Support the class teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Encourage independence and confidence through consistent, structured support
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school setting
* A good understanding of autism and experience supporting children with additional needs
* Confident in using positive behaviour management strategies
* Kind, patient, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills
* Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom culture
