Join to apply for the Sales Manager role at TieTalent

Location: Office based in Hailsham, East Sussex (with UK and international travel as required - 25% to 50%)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40k - £50k

Bonus: £6k p.a. paid quarterly upon target achievement


Key Responsibilities


Sales Execution & Market Development

* Contribute to and implement sales plans in line with company objectives.
* Identify and follow up on new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
* Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support product positioning and development.


Account Management & Customer Engagement

* Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
* Engage with customers in person with planned site visits.
* Ensure high standards of customer service and responsiveness.


Collaboration & Sales Support

* Oversee and/or prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
* Work closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Technical, Production, and Marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to regular sales reporting.


Skills & Experience


Essential

* Demonstrable success in B2B sales within manufacturing or related sectors.
* Experience working within a sales team environment.
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


Desirable

* Experience in export sales or international business development.
* Knowledge of marine, height safety, defence, or other relevant sectors.
* Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Base salary commensurate with experience, plus a quarterly bonus paid in line with sales target achievement. 21 days holiday per year. Mobile phone, laptop plus company car or business mileage reimbursement. When not travelling for business, this is an office-based role, so the ability to commute daily is essential.
