Contract: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £31,000 per annum (DOE), rising to £33,600 after successful probation + sleep-in allowance

As part of this transformation, we’re looking for compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Children’s Residential Deputy Managers .
In this vital role, you’ll:
* Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs
* Help lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care
* Contribute to a nurturing home environment that promotes growth, stability, and positive outcomes
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing environment where both children and staff can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day running of the home in line with Ofsted regulations and quality care standards
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory and procedural frameworks for residential care
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to a team of support workers
* Ensure the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child are met
* Manage staff rotas, supervision, and contribute to training and development
* Assist in creating, reviewing, and implementing individual care plans
* Promote safeguarding and act as a role model for best practice
* Participate in the on-call rota and step up in the Registered Manager’s absence
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 in Leadership & Management desirable or willingness to work towards
* Significant experience in a children’s residential setting, including leadership responsibilities
* A caring, confident, and resilient approach to working with children and young people
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory compliance
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence is essential
