Penrith City Council is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Social Strategy Officer (Temporary Full Time) to lead strategic social planning, research and policy development that will shape the wellbeing and future of our diverse and growing community. In this role, you will work collaboratively across Council, with government partners and other stakeholders to address complex social issues and guide the development of evidence‑based strategies, policies and responses. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development of strategic initiatives that support community wellbeing. Providing advice on Development Applications and planning processes to ensure alignment with future community needs. Analyse demographic and community data to inform Council led initiatives. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Researching, analysing and presenting clear high-quality policies, reports and strategic documents.
