Position
Special Care Dental Nurse based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine.
Permanent appointment, 36 hours per week on term‑time (details to be discussed).
What you will do
We require a motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can work well within the team. The post holder will provide full chairside assistance to the clinician, carry out dental reception duties and perform decontamination duties within the Local Decontamination Units and the dental surgery. Prioritising workload and working on own initiative are essential.
Qualifications and Experience
* Current and relevant chairside experience is essential.
* Excellent organisational skills, motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience and knowledge of dental software packages is desirable.
* Registered with the General Dental Council.
Additional Information
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
