Manufacturing Engineering / Production Support Engineer
We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineering / Production Support Engineer to join a fast-paced production environment, supporting the build of high-volume, technically complex products.
You’ll work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production, driving improvements across processes, tooling, and standards.
What you’ll be doing
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise production disruption
* Work cross-functionally with logistics, quality and engineering teams
* Drive improvements in efficiency, cost, quality and waste reduction
* Support engineering change processes and maintain tooling/jigs
* Develop and update SOPs, process documentation and technical standards
* Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
* Contribute to quality reviews and problem-solving activities
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards
What we’re looking for
* Engineering background (apprenticeship, HNC/HND or Degree preferred)
* Experience in manufacturing (automotive, leisure vehicle or similar ideal)
* CAD experience or ability to interpret engineering drawings
* Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
* Understanding of BOMs and engineering change processes
* Knowledge of Lean / continuous improvement principles
* High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
* Experience with ISO 9001 environments
* Exposure to high-volume production environments
