Management Accountant
Location: Thetford, Norfolk (Hybrid potential)
Salary: up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing, forward-thinking organisation with both UK and international operations. This role sits at the heart of the finance function and offers broad exposure across multiple departments.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will support month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management and process improvement across the wider business. This position is well-suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is motivated by improving systems and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
* Detailed cost analysis and support with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Posting and reviewing monthly accruals and prepayments
* Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintaining the fixed asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation
* Preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
* Liaising with financial institutions regarding loan and asset finance documentation
* Supporting automation and digitalisation initiatives within the finance team
* Assisting with system improvements and finance tools
* Coordinating with external auditors during year-end processes
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies and health & safety requirements
* Supporting additional finance projects as required
About You
* ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE with strong experience
* Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables)
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines
* A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence (occasional travel required)
