The purpose of this role is to give the client the right kind of support to live more independently, reliably, and confidently day-to-day. The PA will help reduce overwhelm, create steadier routines, and make home life feel calmer and more manageable.
Personal Care & Wellbeing Support
* Gentle prompts and assistance with toileting, bathing, washing, dressing, and choosing weather-appropriate clothing
* Support with dentist, GP, therapy, hairdresser and other personal appointments
* Encouragement and support for activity goals.
Household Management & Routine Support
* Routine cleaning and light housework, encouraging the client to participate
* Seasonal household tasks (decorations, window cleaning, boiler service scheduling)
* Laundry and clothing support
* Meal planning, shopping, food stock organisation
* Cooking meals for the family
* Changing bedding
* Plant Care
Parenting Support
* Helping the client preserve energy for quality family time
* Supporting routines that reduce burnout and increase connection
Time, Diary & Life Administration
* Helping maintain a simple diary system with reminders
* Supporting planning, to-dos, bookings and general organisation
Pet Care (Dog Focused)
* Feeding, grooming, dog-walking, health routines, grooming appointments
Safeguarding & Compliance
* Enhanced DBS check required. Confidentiality essential.
