Project Coordinator Needed Sittingbourne £32,000 - £35,000 DOE Hill McGlynn are working with an M&E subcontractor who are seeking a Project Co-ordinator to provide administrative support to the Projects Team to ensure the smooth, efficient administration of all projects undertaken factoring in both client requirements and company policies and processes. You will report directly to the Commercial Manager. Attributes required Proactive and driven Excellent organisational skills Ability to prioritise workload and take initiative Excellent problem-solving skills A desire to develop the role further to ensure continual improvement and compliance with company procedures Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint Experience of using Cypher and Eque2 would be beneficial Construction / Engineering background essential Main Responsibilities Work closely with Project Managers and Directors to ensure timely delivery of all strategic projectsand regularly monitor progress to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget Collate and provide necessary financial information for Finance team. Schedule, drive, attend and minute project meetings ensuring all actions are assigned, followed up and closed out Check status of external providers to ensure they meet with company procedures/processes Check labour/resource allocations have the right competencies to carry out required tasks Timesheet and Expenses approvals Ensure correct equipment is available, inspected/tested and signed out correctly Ensure all paperwork is filed electronically within the job file Support project managers with site set up Compile and issuing of O&M Manuals Obtaining customer feedback Monitor project mailbox and action as required Raise purchase orders for subcontractors and supplier including hired in equipment Checking invoices received and raising queries as necessary Ensure all returns are actioned promptly keeping track and liaising with accounts to ensure credits are raise Collate and manage project stock ensuring re-using where possible rather than buying new Manage the project tracker daily to ensure it remains current and Valuation dates are met by PM's Maintain CVR's Communicate and inform Project Managers and Directors of any changes to processes or procedures to ensure adherence to standards and best practice Continually search for new ways to improve project administration processes and procedures Willing to undergo training and development as and when required relating to the role Perform other reasonable tasks when requested, that helps the company meet its objectives If you are a driven Project Co-ordinator looking for your next role, please apply today with your up to date CV.
