Our Center for Process Excellence team is on a mission to improve business outcomes and employee experiences by driving step-change improvements in critical enterprise processes, and the technology and analytics supporting these.
Position: Sr Principal Program Manager, Process Excellence
You will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination across multiple initiatives. In this role, you will work with team members at all levels of the organization, as well as dedicated transformation teams within the Center for Process Excellence. The position requires demonstrating program management, change management, and process leadership skills, combined with curiosity and understanding of different business domains, to ensure focused and coordinated execution of initiatives. This role is suited for a highly organized and strategic program manager comfortable in a dynamic environment, with strong conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills related to strategy, organizational design, roles, processes, technology, and metrics.
Responsibilities
* Lead quarterly planning within and across initiatives to align priorities with strategic objectives and deliver impact on key metrics.
* Support Process Owners and Scrum Masters in detailed planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives.
* Collaborate with teams across the organization (e.g., IT, sales, marketing, engineering) to ensure effective execution of project deliverables.
* Manage the portfolio of initiatives, ensuring proper management processes and tools are in place, and that each initiative is driven efficiently within scope and budget.
* Serve as a point of contact for senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing regular updates, resolving issues, and managing expectations throughout the initiative lifecycle.
* Implement metrics to measure the performance of the Center for Process Excellence and individual initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Identify risks and roadblocks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues to keep initiatives on track.
* Support resource allocation across initiatives, ensuring teams have the necessary tools and support to achieve goals.
* Manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective execution of initiatives.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of program management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
* 12+ years of experience in program and project management, with a proven record of successfully completing large-scale programs delivering change across people, processes, data, and technology in global organizations.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and align teams with varied strengths.
* Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations, identify challenges, and propose actionable solutions.
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Deep knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira) and data analysis for decision-making and success measurement.
* Experience with change management, process discovery, design, and implementation.
* Experience with business process management, automation, Lean concepts, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Prosci are a plus.
* Master’s Degree required.
