Job Purpose
Advise project managers on contract strategy and ensure all contractual aspects during project execution are addressed to maximize project revenues.
Job Description
1. Act as a key member of the project team, participating in commercial strategic discussions to identify, evaluate, and mitigate contract risks.
2. Provide accurate summaries of contract-related matters, including contract synopsis, review, obligations matrix, and guidance.
3. Prepare and review all contractual correspondence exchanged during project execution with clients, partners, subcontractors, and authorities.
4. Monitor project deliverables, identify risks and opportunities.
5. Manage all contractual and commercial issues related to changes, including claims, internal approvals, negotiations, and interfacing with involved functions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a pertinent discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience with contracts.
* At least 2 years experience with Subsea contracts, preferred; oil & gas industry experience required.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Understanding of inter-disciplinary relations and requirements.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to engage in open dialogue with stakeholders.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
* Legal or commercial discipline experience is advantageous.
