Strutt & Parker - Senior Associate Director, Rural Land Management
The role
Strutt & Parker’s Land Management team is a leading provider of rural services to a diverse and affluent private client base. The office is conveniently located for easy access to central London.
An opportunity has arisen to join this successful team, working with significant estate management clients on a variety of projects, including planning, valuation, and rural professional matters. The role offers flexibility with a balance of office and home working, focusing on optimizing clients’ assets across prosperous counties. Flexible working arrangements are supported, with responsibilities including retained management and rural professional work.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day relationships with estate management clients
* Oversee landlord and tenant relationships for agricultural, commercial, and residential properties
* Handle financial matters, including budgeting and performance reporting
* Provide practical, clear, and reasoned advice to clients
The Candidate
* Experience in the rural sector, from private practice or resident agent backgrounds
* Project management, planning, development experience, and RICS Registered Valuer status are advantageous
* Confident, organized, and professional demeanor
* Ability to build trust and strong relationships with clients
* Commercially savvy and proactive
* Financial responsibility experience
* Strong networking and sales skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and resourceful
* Clear and confident communicator
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills/Qualifications
* MRICS qualification, with consideration for newly qualified or experienced candidates with a proven track record in rural estate management
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet
