Have you worked in Counter Fraud and have experience in Production Management? Do you have the ability to work with conflicting priorities and attention to detail? If you have, then Social Security Scotland has a temporary role for a B1 Enquiries and Productions Assistant Team Manager.

As Enquiry and Productions Assistant Team Manager you will work within the External Investigations Team. You will provide support to Investigators who undertake investigations into allegations of fraud which are compliant with legal and policy requirements. Flexibility to travel to our Investigation hubs in Inverness, Dundee and Edinburgh in addition to Procurator Fiscal Offices will be required.


Responsibilities

* Application of data protection legislation and relevant standard operating procedures/guidance in relation to Evidence Management
* Review and action DPA applications on behalf of Investigators, ensuring they meet the required standard of quality and accuracy and comply with relevant legislation
* Monitor the shared inbox and ensure timely updates of trackers and the Fraud Case Management System
* Maintain the integrity of evidential and other sensitive materials by following the recording, handling and retention/destruction guidelines
* Provide administrative support to Investigators and Team Leaders, including producing MI reports when required
* Take responsibility to gather information required in relation to any SARS request received
* Seize evidence to support Investigators from Internal Systems in line with COPFS code of practice and standard operating procedures
* Accompany Investigators when seizing evidence and noting Witness Statements from third parties.

Experience

Demonstrated working knowledge of Production Management within a Criminal Investigation environment with a strong understanding of data Protection Legislation

Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage a varied workload, balancing conflicting priorities, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst working within a collaborative team working environment.

Please note that due the nature of this role the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence as there will be a requirement to travel using the pool car.

Duration of Temporary Opportunity

This opportunity will be for up to 12 months in duration.


Hybrid Working

We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location, which is 220 High Street, Glasgow. There is also an expectation of flexibility to travel to our Investigation hubs in Inverness, Dundee and Edinburgh in addition to Procurator Fiscal Offices when required.
