Are you an electrical engineer looking for a fresh challenge? Im working with a food manufacturer who is looking to expand their engineering team. This role is for someone looking for a long:term project, including machine upgrades, team development and increasing the factories efficiency and capacity. This role is open to people from a variety of engineering backgrounds, but you must have drive, ambition and passion for growing your engneering career
Roles/Responsibilities

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform maintenance and fault:finding on machinery, including Siemens PLCs and various electrical production equipment.
*
Reporting and Collaboration: Report to senior management and work with engineers and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
*
Automation Projects: Assist in upgrading manual machinery to automated systems to support business growth.
*
Project and Continuous Improvement: Lead and suggest improvements and project work to enhance efficiency.
*
Compliance and Support: Ensure compliance with standards and provide support for production running 24/6.
What Were Looking For:
*
Qualifications: Electrical or multi:skilled engineer with a strong electrical bias, qualified to NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition.
*
Experience: 5:8 years experience in an engineering role.
*
Technical Background: Open to candidates from any industry, not limited to maintenance backgrounds.
*
Flexibility: Willing to take part in an on:call rota on a flexible basis and comfortable with occasional weekend work, typically every other week.
