Business Development and Marketing Manager
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 base + 25% bonus
Location: London (1 day a month in the Office + client visits)

🎯 The Role
This is a sophisticated role for a strategic thinker. As the Business Development and Marketing Manager, you will sit at the intersection of sales enablement and brand strategy. You will act as a consultant to senior stakeholders at some of the world’s most recognised brands, educating them on how to transform their media mix through authenticity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and nurture a high-value pipeline within the FMCG, Electronics, and Beauty sectors.
* Lead high-level discovery and presentations that demonstrate the ROI of UGC and social advocacy.
* Negotiate commercial terms and close deals that align deeply with client KPIs.
* Lead outreach campaigns across email, social selling, and networking channels.
* Develop marketing collateral, case studies, and thought leadership content to support sales.
* Deliver presentations and proposals that demonstrate UGC’s impact on engagement and conversion.
* Position influencer and UGC solutions within clients’ marketing strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams to optimise messaging and share market insights.
* Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
* Use CRM and data-driven insights to improve outreach and conversion.
* Stay ahead of social media trends and educate clients on best practices.
🛠️ Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for a hybrid thinker: someone who understands the strategy behind a marketing campaign and has the commercial drive to close deals. You likely have experience working within a major FMCG/Electronics brand or selling to them.
You will have/be:
* 4+ years in a consultative B2B sales or senior marketing role.
* Deep knowledge of the FMCG, Retail, or Electronics landscape.
* Strong commercial background with in-depth knowledge of CRM, sales enablement, and outreach.
* Proven track record in consultative sales and client relationship management.
* Proactive, ambitious, and confident in opening doors, building relationships, and driving revenue.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
* A strong understanding of the Social Media and UGC landscape would be a plus.
* A significant benefit is a curiosity for and ability to leverage AI/LLMs to build workflow automations effectively, enhancing both internal processes and client touchpoints.
