Job Role We’re currently recruiting for a Heavy MIG Welder/Fabricator to facilitate our brand-new customer cell. You’ll work with the latest robotic welding systems and high-quality 4mm materials, playing a critical role in delivering products that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities Assist in the operation of brand-new robotic welding equipment in a designated cell. Fabricate metal components, ensuring precision and quality every time. Interpret technical drawings and utilise custom jigs for tack welding. Inspect welded components for top quality assurance. Collaborate with a supportive team to enhance processes and productivity. Maintain a clean, organised workspace and adhere to safety protocols. Capture shop floor data accurately, aligning with company policies. Requirements Proven expertise in Heavy MIG Welding (1 year minimum). Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings. Solid mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills. A commitment to safety. Basic computer literacy for accessing digital instructions and logs. Bonus: Other welding experience and a background in sheet metal work. Interview Requirement: A weld test will be part of the interview process to showcase your skills.
