OVERVIEW: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor to join their successful team. Based from home, you will be responsible for the delivery of Health & Social Care apprenticeships up to Level 5 to a caseload of learners. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Adult Health & Social Care sector with experience of managing services within adult care. You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and ideally a Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards one). You will be required to assist with Functional Skills delivery, although there is specialist Functional Skills Tutor on hand! This role is remote, home based, with occasional travel across the South West. SALARY/BENEFITS: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR Starting Salary £30K 4 day condensed working week Monday - Thursday Work tools provided Full travel expenses (paid from home) Company pension scheme Flexible working environment Opportunity for career progression and personal development DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR Train, assess, motivate and support Health & Social Care learners on programmes towards achieving Health & Social Care Apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional skills Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Health & Social Care training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner. Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
