Offer description

Join us as a Group Creative Manager at Bettys and Taylors Group

Our family business is home to three iconic Yorkshire brands - Yorkshire Tea, Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced creative to join the Group Communications team at Bettys & Taylors Group on a fixed term, maternity cover basis.

This is a hands‑on creative role at the heart of our Group communications activity. While you’ll help shape our approach to design and visual storytelling, much of your time will be spent delivering high‑quality creative work – designing, producing and bringing content to life across a wide range of channels.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative Group Communications team and, as the primary creative in the team, you’ll partner closely with colleagues across the business to create engaging, effective and beautifully executed communications.

This is a one‑year fixed term, part‑time role. Ideally, we’re looking for a candidate able to work 25 hours per week, salary detailed is full‑time equivalent.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Designing and producing a wide range of communications collateral, including publications, presentations, infographics, reports, event materials and digital content, ensuring high quality standards
* Taking responsibility for end‑to‑end design delivery, from interpreting briefs and developing concepts through to final production
* Acting as a creative partner to stakeholders across the business, helping translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual content
* Supporting the evolution and application of our Group visual identity, ensuring it is used consistently and effectively across outputs
* Designing for digital channels including employee engagement platforms and our Group website with a focus on layout and user experience
* Creating visual content across multiple formats, such as photography, film, infographics and interactive digital assets, to support communications plans
* Managing the production process, including print and digital outputs, and working with external suppliers such as photographers, illustrators, web developers and printers
* Using insight, feedback and analytics to continuously improve the effectiveness and usability of our content and channels

What We’re Looking For

* Strong, hands‑on graphic design capability, with the ability to produce high‑quality work across print and digital formats and platforms
* A great eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling, with attention to detail and pride in execution
* Experience managing design projects from concept through to delivery, including production and supplier management
* Confidence working directly with stakeholders to shape briefs and deliver creative solutions that meet business needs
* Strong skills in design software including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
* Experience designing for digital platforms and an understanding of UX, page structure and content management systems
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and produce a high volume of work to a consistently high standard
* Strong organisation, collaboration and relationship‑building skills
* A proactive, practical mindset – someone who’s happy rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck into delivery

Experience supporting or developing others, and contributing to creative direction or visual identity, would also be beneficial, but this is first and foremost a delivery‑focused role.

What We Offer You

* A discretionary profit‑share bonus scheme paid quarterly (11.9% average over the last three years).
* A generous, flexible and inclusive range of family‑friendly benefits to support you through every stage of life. These include enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave arrangements, flexible working options, paid time off for caring responsibilities, and emergency family leave.
* Freshly cooked hot meals while at work, along with free drinks and snacks
* Discounts on Bettys & Taylors products
* A range of health benefits, including a health cash plan, health assessments, flu jabs and more.
* Wellbeing support, including an Employee Assistance Programme (free and independent service offering free counselling and health and wellbeing resources).
* The option to buy and sell additional holidays (subject to conditions)

Development Opportunities

We also offer a range of development opportunities no matter your role and ambitions. We encourage everyone to take control of their career and make the most of:

* On‑the‑job learning
* External training programmes
* Apprenticeship opportunities
* Internal 1:1 coaching schemes

The closing date for this vacancy is 12th July 2026.
