DVC Sports Centre Duty Officer
Location: Dearne Valley College, Rotherham
Salary: £25,456 per annum plus benefits
Vacancy Type: Full Time including Evenings & Weekends (37hrs per week, all year round)

The Role
We are looking to recruit a Duty Officer to join the DVC Sports Centre team in providing a customer focused service to all of our learners, employees and members.
Responsibilities
* Operate day-to-day activities of the Sports Centre, including customer service, health & safety and management of bookings.
* Lead and support staff, covering planned and unplanned absences and class coverage as required.
* Work flexibly on an evening & weekend rota, taking responsibility for opening and securing the premises.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any queries or issues that arise.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Sports or Leisure related qualification, Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and a full First Aid at Work qualification (First Aid may be completed whilst in post if not already obtained).
* Experience of supervisory responsibilities and significant knowledge of health and safety guidelines in a sports and leisure centre environment.

DVC Sports Centre is located at Dearne Valley College and offers a diverse range of cardiovascular and muscle strengthening equipment. Over 25 fitness classes run each week, with staff supporting members. The Duty Officer will be responsible for facilities and staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, solving queries, and reporting directly to the Centre Manager.
