We are seeking to recruit an Investment & Operations IT Project Manager to join an already successful team to deliver projects affecting the Investment & Operations value chain front-to-back. The role will include the design, implementation and improvement of operational requirements, asset classes and functionalities along the entire investment management value chain. This role will be preferably based in Frankfurt, but Paris and London are also an option. What you will do • Lead IT projects and work streams within larger change programs • Gather business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, including portfolio managers, operations teams, custodians, fund administrators, middle office providers, and IT providers • Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams for developing and implementing innovative products and enhancements • Deliver projects considering IT, P&L, legal, tax, risk, and regulatory constraints, managing timeframe, budget, and scope • Independently manage projects, ensuring ownership of deliverables and overall success while acting as an internal consultant • Develop operational models, workflows, and design technology and data solutions aligned with the overall operating model • Ensure client satisfaction, accuracy, productivity, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations • Support and maintain team-owned applications • Stay updated with industry developments, disruptive services, technology innovations, and best practices • Automate processes within the overall functional area What you bring • Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, IT, engineering, or related fields; ideally holds a masters degree • At least 3 years of experience in IT consulting • Proficient in project management methodologies like Scrum and Prince 2, with a solid understanding of the full development lifecycle and Agile methodologies • Experience with programming languages including SQL, Python, and VBA, with the ability to automate processes and perform database engineering • Skilled in translating business requirements for developers and understanding the financial industry and its value chain across front-, middle-, and back-office functions • Familiarity with various asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, OTC & ETD Derivatives, Money Market, and Alternatives • Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and entities at international level • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS PowerPoint and MS Excel What we offer • Flexible working from home and abroad according to internal guidelines (hybrid model/ flexible working hours/cross-border remote work) • Access to pension/ savings plans/ Allianz products • Family support (childcare facilities) • Company share purchasing plan • Mental health and wellbeing programs • Mobility solutions (Jobrad bike leasing, subvention Jobticket) • Career opportunities within the entire Allianz Group • Self-guided learning & development • … and so much more!
