The Role
* Join a highly performing Civil law team, working in the Glenrothes office of a regional firm which provides representation in the Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline Sheriff Courts.
* Handle a varied case load in most areas of civil litigation with a leaning towards the Family court such as residence/contact/separation and divorce, Children's referrals. In addition Employment and Mental Health tribunal representation, Guardianship applications under Adults with Incapacity, Interdicts actions, Simple procedure and debt recovery.
* This position can offer responsibility for your own case load as well as assisting partners.
Ideal Requirements
* 2 years PQE
* Ideally you will have previous experience in civil sheriff court work
* A dynamic solicitor with sound ability and a strong perspective
* You will be hard working, enthusiastic, outgoing and a team player with excellent client service skills.
* You will be natural at building rapport with clients and colleagues and will quickly gain their confidence with your knowledge and professionalism.
* Excellent interpersonal skills are vital and the ability to handle matters with empathy and sensitivity is key.
