Management Accountant - Thetford We are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join our clients’ manufacturing team in Thetford. As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting cost control initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities: * Assist the Financial Controller in maintaining and controlling divisional expenditure. * Timely and accurate accounts reporting to ensure financial integrity. * Cost accounting for multiple projects. * Responsible for the end-of-month Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) submissions. * Prepare departmental Profit and Loss (P/L) accounts. * Assist with annual budgeting, re-forecasting, and audit preparation. * Administer and manage project-related financial activities. * Complete and maintain balance sheet reconciliations. * Create and monitor general ledger codes to ensure proper financial reporting. * Record inter-company costs and ensure accurate transactional data. * Participate in ad-hoc projects, encouraging cost control and efficiency improvements throughout the business. Skills and Qualifications: * Desirable: AAT Qualified or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). * Strong double-entry accounts experience, with a solid understanding of accounting principles. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate data and create meaningful reports. * Ability to successfully interact with employees at all levels within the organisation, developing positive relationships.
