This role is vital for our business success. The primary purpose of the Account Manager role is to secure new and repeat business from our current customer base and to build new, lasting customer relationships.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial activities related to supporting the Project Team in delivering projects that meet customer scope requirements. This role may involve national travel and, depending on clients, international travel.

You will work closely with key stakeholders across various disciplines, making interpersonal skills and teamwork essential for developing relationships, understanding projects, and ensuring successful delivery.

Role responsibilities for an Account Manager:

Business Development:

* Build and maintain strong relationships with designated customers.
* Achieve set business targets.
* Promote KS capabilities to attract new and repeat business.
* Develop projects to maximize profits.
* Stay informed about industry changes and report to Directors.
* Communicate technically with customers.
* Identify market sectors for expansion.
* Manage NDA documents and filing.
* Align with KSC SPS standards.

Commercial Responsibilities:

* Establish project costings using provided documentation.
* Prepare detailed quotations promptly.
* Outline achievable project timelines.
* Record all quotation assumptions and meeting minutes.
* Meet sales targets.
* Review and create contracts and renewals.
* Adhere to KS Composites SPS standards.
* Act as the primary contact for customers.
* Support project and operational contingency plans.
* Monitor project P&L from quotation to delivery.
* Track project progress and update CRM logs.

Processes:

* Participate in delivering the sales strategy.
* Record and manage inquiries and data in CRM.
* Complete customer setup and quotation processes.
* Respond to inquiries within set timeframes.
* Coordinate PO processing and project handovers.

Key skills of an Account Manager:

* Experience managing a large client base.
* Ability to multitask and handle multiple inquiries.
* Minimum of 10 years in the composites industry.
* At least 4 years of hands-on experience.
* Strong teamwork skills.

Salary: £45,000+ (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, on-site with travel required.
