Interim Part-Time Financial Controller - South West Manufacturing Business
Location: Central Bristol (Hybrid - 2-3 days office-based)
Contract Length: 5 months
Working Pattern: Part-time, 3 days per week
Pay: Daily rate (outside IR35 determination in progress)
Robert Half is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing business based in the South West, to recruit an Interim Part-Time Financial Controller for an initial period of five months.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at a pivotal moment in its growth journey. You will play a key role in supporting the senior finance leadership team by providing flexible, high-impact resource across a range of critical finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead bank and stock reconciliations, including liaising with external banking partners and managing trade finance documentation
* Define and implement robust end-to-end finance processes and controls, ensuring scalability and compliance
* Review, improve and document existing financial controls and procedures, enhancing operational efficiency
* Manage group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations, currently overseen by external auditors
* Drive system integration initiatives, including automation and implementation of an expenses module
* Collaborate closely with finance leadership to manage team workload, improve accuracy, and support strategic priorities
* Champion continuous improvement, contributing to team development and embedding best practice across the function
