Year 3 Teaching Assistant (Full‑Time, Term‑Time Only) – Burnley Position: Teaching Assistant (Year 3) Contract: Full‑time, Term‑time only Location: Burnley Start Date: April 2026 We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and proactive Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school community in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially and emotionally. As a key member of our Key Stage 2 team, you will work closely with the class teacher to support high‑quality teaching and learning, deliver targeted interventions, and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. Key Responsibilities Support the Year 3 class teacher in delivering lessons and activities Provide individual and small‑group support to pupils, including those with additional needs Assist in preparing resources and maintaining an organised learning environment Promote positive behaviour and model the school's values Contribute to assessments and feedback as required Foster a safe, supportive and nurturing atmosphere within the classroom About You We would love to hear from you if you have: Experience working with primary‑aged children, ideally KS2 A positive, patient and caring approach Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents A commitment to supporting children’s progress and wellbeing Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification) – desirable but not essential Why Join Us?
