James Heal are based in two adjoining former textile mills a short distance from Halifax, Town Centre, we Design and Manufacture Testing Instruments predominantly for the Textile Industry.

Using both your Mechanical and Electrical skills you will be involved in building, calibrating and testing our whole product range, along with our new products as they are brought to market.
Key accountabilities
* Using both Electrical and Mechanical skills, ensure that all built parts, products and services are consistently at the level of quality that is expected and that all procedures are followed.
* Ensure satisfactory measurement equipment is used and that the quality plans are maintained
* Ensure that Quality plans, NCR's, Change Proposals, etc. are adhered to and kept up to date.
* Ensure that all software is installed correctly and of the right revision.
* will be fire Marshall and first aid trained

Employment & Educational Background
* Apprentice trained (or equivalent experience) in either Mechanical or Electrical discipline
* Educated to a minimum HNC level ( or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience of working in an Engineering Manufacturing environment
