We are looking for an Electrical Construction Manager (LVAP) to join our Building Services team in London.
Working at Skanska as a Construction Manager (LVAP) – Electrical, you will effectively and professionally undertake the role of the dedicated LVAP on the project during the services construction phase and also act as the roaming LVAP for projects during the services pre-construction phases whereby temporary electrics are being undertaken within the JV projects. The role is to ensure full compliance at all times with the Skanska SSOW including the Electrical Safety Plan and take sole ownership of the duties contained within these areas
What you'll do:
1. Co-ordinate all Electrical site activities with all other site operations in relation to the inspections and electrical activities to enable the correct procedures to be strictly adhered to in relation to the livening up the electrical supplies
2. Proactive management of Health and Safety on site.
3. Work collaboratively with the project team and other contractors, subcontractors works packages to achieve the overall project goals
4. Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently
5. Working with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Consents etc for the works and that these are implemented
What you'll bring to the role:
6. Proven track record in administering the LVAP role
7. Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS
8. Experience and Knowledge in relation to the correct testing and commissioning of complete Electrical installations
9. Completed suitable LVAP training and ensure this is kept upto date
10. Safet Critical worker assessment along with suitable First Aid training
11. Undertaken the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and a minimum of 5 years practical experience
