TeacherActive are working with a large, well respected secondary school in Nuneaton that are looking to take on a Teaching Support Worker, to assist a disabled Teacher at the school with day to day activities. Though you will be in contact with pupils throughout the school day, this role is more focused on assisting the Teacher rather than students specifically. This involves helping the Teacher go about their normal day to day life both inside and outside of the classroom. this can include but is not limited to tasks such as - Handing out work to the class Covering lessons if the Teacher is required to take a break Writing on boards and displays Helping the Teacher with travel between classes Assisting the Teacher during lunch breaks and downtime (breaks will be factored in for you also) Acting fast to fetch help in the event of an emergency For clarity the role DOES NOT involve any personal care.
