Kitchen Assistant
Gooch's Coffee House in Stamford are currently looking to recruit for a Kitchen Assistant to join our well established, Family run Coffee shop based within the heart of Stamford.
We are currently looking for a kitchen assistant to assist and support with the day to day running of our establishment on a part time basis initially, although more working availability will become available during peak seasons.
The successful applicant must:
* Have the ability to work in a fast pace environment
* Be punctual and efficient in all aspects of your work
* Work well as part of a supportive team within the kitchen
* Previous experience is desirable however not essential as all training will be provided
* Full understanding of the English language is a must (Speaking and reading)
Duties of the Kitchen Assistant:
* Reading and taking note of food orders in a logical manor
* Assisting in preparation of food for the day ahead
* Heating and preparing food safely and with the highest presentation
* Keeping Kitchen area clean and tidy at all times
* Working well as part of a supportive team
* Complying to all Health, safety & Food, Hygiene regulations at all times and PPE where appropriate
Working hours for the position are as follows:
Working days:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week
Working hours:
Hours may vary slightly dependant on how busy each day is but general hours are 09:00 - 18:00 each day - Sunday: 10:00 - 17:00
