Working Style
You'll be based in the Borough for 3 days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you're working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you'll be part of a dedicated team supporting the residents within the community.
What you'll be doing
As part of being within the wider Bi-Borough Early Education and Childcare Service, you will join a dedicated team of two Senior Information Officers.
You will be providing signposting support to families and professionals on matters relating to family life, with a particular focus on Early Education and childcare and local services for the under 5s. Whether this be to answer queries from members of the public via email and on the Service's helpline or out in the community (Family Hubs, libraries, schools and community centres). There is a requirement that you will be out in the community for a minimum of 6 sessions per month, to meet the families face-to-face.
You will contribute to the upkeep of the Family Information Hub websites for both Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster, ensuring information uploaded remain accurate and accessible.
Additionally, you will take a leading role on the Service's outreach strategy, including the Early Years Parent Champion programme, which involves promoting, recruiting, training and managing parent volunteers. You will coordinate and carry out visits to community centres, Family Hubs, libraries, schools and other family venues to meet with families and share family related information and guidance.

What you'll bring
We are looking for someone to join our team with exceptional customer services skills. You will be friendly, approachable and professional and willing to go the extra mile when helping link families to the support they require.
Organisation and time keeping skills are a must to manage the outreach strategy and the Early Years Parent Champion programme.
Experience on record-keeping and Microsoft Office (word, Excel, Power Point) are desirable.

Interviews will be held in person on the week commencing 8th December 2025.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS Including Children's Barred List.
