Systems Test Analyst, IM&T, Split Working from home and office - Berkshire
Working from home and the Trust Locations, with flexible working hours Monday-Friday, this role could be ideal for a full-time candidate. We are looking to recruit a Band 4 Test Analyst to join the systems team, testing a variety of electronic patient record systems used by the Trust. Full training on each system will be provided, prior knowledge of specific systems is not required. You will be a diligent individual, with strong communication skills and pay close attention to detail.
You will be able to demonstrate problem solving and take responsibility for managing your workload.
As a leading digital trust, new systems are routinely being introduced working across multiple projects with various suppliers. You will be comfortable working online in an often dynamic setting, communicating with other organisations across the country.
Main duties of the job
* Test new functionality as part of projects or routine system upgrades
* Develop scripts for new functionality developed both internal and external to the Trust
* Take responsibility for maintaining your caseload of project actions
* Support colleagues from our wider team, ranging from 1st line support to clinical change, where required
* Provide clear and concise reports of your test activity
* Work flexibly in relation to the teams needs to support system Go Live

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
* Good Standard of education. NVQ3 or equivalent experience.
Desirable qualifications
* European Computer Driving Licence Qualified or equivalent level of knowledge
* Microsoft Certified or equivalent level of knowledge
Training
* Experience in writing Test Scripts or Training Guides (Essential)
* Formal training in Testing applications - or equivalent experience (Desirable)
Previous Experience
* Experience of providing diverse services to multiple customers (Essential)
* Experience in the use of MS Office Applications (Essential)
* At least one years experience in an IT environment (Desirable)
* 1 Years experience in an Application Systems environment (Desirable)
* Hands on Testing Tools, and understanding impact on users (Desirable)
